Sacrament of Reconciliation
What is Reconciliation?
Reconciliation is the sacrament by which our sins are absolved by the action of the priest when we humbly and honestly confess our sins. It is through this sacrament that a penitent recovers Grace, reconciliation with the Church, spiritual consolation, remission of sins and the strength to resist further sin.
Confession is available in English and Spanish, on the following days in Ordinary Times:
St James: Saturday 4:00-4:45PM
St. Patrick: Thursday 5:00-5:45PM
Children in 2nd grade are of the age to prepare for their First Reconciliation. Adults and older children are also welcome to prepare for Reconciliation if they have not yet done so. Please contact the Faith Formation for more information.
