Altar Society

A group of laypersons who hold monthly meetings and are responsible for maintaining the liturgical environment of the church for the changing seasons in the liturgical year and also for maintaining sacred vessels and the implements used in the celebration of the mass. Members of the Altar Society humbly provide indispensable service that often goes unnoticed by others as they go about their duties in a prayerful and devoted way and are therefore of extreme importance to the spiritual life of the community.
