Confirmation
Our High School Confirmation Program includes two consecutive years of Faith Formation; one must be at least in the 9th grade to begin. Regular attendance, along with hours of service to the Catholic Community, are mandatory. Students must have received the sacraments of Baptism, First Penance (Confession) and First Eucharist (Communion) by the time they enter the second year of the Confirmation program.
During this process, we challenge our students to ask questions that allow them to understand and live their faith. We challenge them to become strong and faithful Catholics. Confirmation is the beginning of a lifetime of learning and practicing your Catholic faith in your everyday lives. It is a sacrament of evangelization, not graduation from church.
As part of preparation, candidates will attend a retreat. The date for the retreat changes yearly. If you cannot make the retreat, it is your responsibility to make another parish's overnight Confirmation retreat.
